Kattem IL Fotballklubb was one of 34 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Trønderavisas Fotballcup 2019. They participated with one team in Gutter 13 (født 2006).

In addition to Kattem IL Fotballklubb, 13 other teams played in Gutter 13 (født 2006). They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Kattem IL Fotballklubb could be found in Group A together with Steinkjer FK - Fotball, Inderøy IL, Sjetne IL and Kvam IL.

Kattem IL Fotballklubb continued to Slutspel A after reaching 3:rd place in Group A. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Trygg/Lade, SK with 1-2. In the Final, Trygg/Lade, SK won over Sjetne IL and became the winner of Slutspel A in Gutter 13 (født 2006).

Kattem IL Fotballklubb also participated in Gutter 13 (født 2005) during Trønderavisas Fotballcup 2018. They reached the Semi final in G13 (2005) Slutspel A, but lost it against Verdal IL with 0-6.

Kattem comes from Trondheim which lies approximately 95 km from Steinkjer, where Trønderavisas Fotballcup takes place. The area around Trondheim does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Trønderavisas Fotballcup 2019 (Among others: Charlottenlund Sportsklubb, Sjetne IL, Strindheim IL, Tiller IL, Nardo FK, Melhus IL, Byåsen IL, Stjørdals-Blink Fotball, Astor Fotballklubb and Vestbyen IL).
