Steinkjer FK - Fotball was one of 22 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Trønderavisas Fotballcup 2022. They participated with three teams in Gutter 13 (født 2009), Jenter 13(født 2009) and Jenter 14 (født 2008) respectively. The team in Jenter 14 (født 2008) made it to the the Final in Slutspel A, but lost it against Verdal IL by 0-2.

In addition to this, Steinkjer FK - Fotball have participated in Trønderavisas Fotballcup before. During Trønderavisas Fotballcup 2021, Steinkjer FK - Fotball had three teams playing in Gutter 13 (født 2008), Gutter 14 (født 2007) and Jenter 13(født 2008) respectively.

Steinkjer FK - Fotball originates from Steinkjer, which is the same city as where Trønderavisas Fotballcup takes place.
